Chiefs Grass Seed Lager
A grass seed lager? How did Chiefs come up with that?
Linn County, Oregon is the Grass Seed Capital of the world, and about four years ago we had the idea to see if grass seed could be incorporated into beer. That was before we even had the brewery going. “No one is doing this… we should try this!” we thought, and got to work. With all of the parts and right people in place, we were able to expand and start the brewery. We began experimenting with grass seed grown on our own land and came up with our Chiefs Grass Seed Lager. Now we are in full swing and have developed over a dozen other delicious craft beers! We’re working on a Hayseed Hazy IPA and have several more in the works for the new year. We have multiple IPA’s, Stout, Amber, Red, Hefe and Raspberry Hefe, a Watermelon Hefe called Wheatermelon, a Blonde, a Pale Ale and a seasonal Christmas Ale. Come to one of our restaurants to try one out, or click here to learn about all of our brews.
